Hydrostatic transmission is the answer
The question, "How do you get the most work from a crawler loader?" The 655C’s Dual-path, electronic-controlled hydrostatic transmission, automatically adjusts speed and power to match changing load conditions. The exclusive Auto-Trac™ system keeps the 655C running straight in either direction, on level ground, or steep slopes. Counter rotation allows space-saving spot turns, and variable ground speeds and full power turn capabilities let the operator maneuver confidently in tight areas.
Room with a view
The spacious walk-through air-conditioned cab is standard. Visibility is virtually unobstructed, with a large tinted windshield providing a panoramic view to the work ahead. The oscillating track frame has a unique cushioned front pivot shaft that absorbs shock loads and greatly enhances the ride for smooth moves and superior grading ability.
To say the 655C is an operator’s machine…well, that’s an understatement.
